On March 7 the Everett Trojans battled Lower Columbia College in the Sweet 16 game of the NWAC Basketball Championships at the Walt Price Fitness Center. With seconds left on the clock Everett needed a three point shot to send the game into over time keeping their tournament hopes alive. Jon Parker’s three point shot  not only kept the Trojans hopes alive but blew the roof off the Fitness Center sending crowd into hysteria. Unfortunately the Trojans would loose narrowly in overtime 96-94 but not before they gave  NWAC an exciting do-or-die showdown of tournament basketball.
