EvCC Students Perform Eurydice
“Eurydice” will be performed by EvCC theater students on Nov. 17-19 and Dec. 1-3 in Baker Hall, Room 120 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are by donation.
The play is a modern take on the ancient Greek tale of Orpheus, retold by playwright Sarah Ruhl and focusing on the perspective of Orpheus’s wife, Eurydice.
Eurydice dies on her wedding day and reunites with her long-dead father in the underworld. She must decide whether to return with Orpheus to the land of the living or remain with her father in death.
Scott Randall directs “Eurydice” and features Melanie Stagner and Jacy Leavitt, among other performers. For more information, please contact Theatre Instructor Beth Peterson at (425)-388-9525 or [email protected].
