What interests you about Journalism?
So many things interest me about journalism. I love that it gives me the ability to tell stories to an audience and spread news that needs to be told. I also really enjoy that journalism holds those in power accountable for their actions and it gives those in lesser power an outlet to let their voices and opinions be heard.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is being a traveling journalist. I have never been out of the country before but I feel a strong calling and interest in experiencing the world and it’s different cultures. I want to use my journalism background and my calling for travel as a way to tell the stories and current events happening in other places in the world. And once I settle down in life, I want to run a blog from home.
When you aren’t doing things for the Clipper, what can you be found doing?
When I am not doing things for the Clipper, work or school, I can be found in one of two places. Either hanging out with my boyfriend or hanging out with my ducks! I have three ducks, two of which I raised since they were three days old, and one was a rescue. Their names are Lennon, Mosey and Goose. I also have a strong passion for music so often times I will be listening to music, playing instruments and singing or trying to write my own.
