EvCC Food Pantry Now Open
Hungry?
EvCC now has its very own food pantry for food-insecure students, staff, and faculty members.
The food pantry opened October 3rd. The project was spearheaded by Tina Te, EvCC’s ASB President, and EvCC’s student government division, ‘The Associated Students of Everett Community College’.
“Now all our EvCC students can have a resource,” Te said.
The pantry currently has over 600 items, ranging from canned goods, snacks, kitchen utensils, and hygienic products.
Access to the pantry is extremely easy. Just visit Whitehorse 290 any Monday and Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm, or Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Want to contribute? Donations are accepted anytime in the collection barrel at the Welcome Center, near the bookstore in the Parks Student Union. There is also a collection barrel in front of the food pantry.
