Two Students Robbed Near Campus
On Tuesday, Oct. 11, two EvCC students were robbed by a third party male when they were on their way to an off-campus event. The students reported yesterday that he demanded they get out of their car on 10th and Rockefeller and “a fight ensued, police were called, and the third party was arrested and jailed,” as stated in an EvCC Rave Alert email sent this morning. No serious injuries were reported. The male is booked on first degree robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia- paraphernalia is “any equipment that is used to produce, conceal, and consume illicit drugs,” according to the National Drug Intelligence Center website.
