A new class called History of the American Comic Book (HUM 227) will be offered by T. Andrew Wahl, the head of the journalism and communications department, for summer quarter.

It will be an online class that focuses on how American comic books have developed over time including the style, characters and genres of them. Wahl is a comic-book lover who owns over 20,000 comic books.

This class will satisfy a humanities elective; any student pursuing an Arts and Sciences Associate Degree needs 15 humanities credits. For more information about this new class, email T. Andrew Wahl at [email protected].
