Name Chosen for New Student Housing
A name for EvCC’s new student housing has been chosen! EvCC student Jeff Noyes entered a contest hosted by EvCC and Koz Development and was selected out of 50 applicants for his idea of names. The name he chose? “Mountain View.” He chose it because he “realized that on sunny days, from the hill that the building is on, there’s a perfect view of the North Cascades.” The new residence hall is set to open fall of 2016, and hold room for 120 students. Along with the honor of being the person who chose the building name, Noyes was awarded with a $250 cash prize. “Prize money? I’m guessing it won’t last long, I’ve got motorcycle parts to buy,” he said.
