Where does The Clipper fit into your long-term goals?
I am an Integrated Strategic Communications major, and I am thinking about going into social media management as a career. Being on The Clipper has taught me how to represent, to the best of my abilities, our student-run news organization. This knowledge can be passed to the potential management of any company, team, non-profit, etc. I am so grateful to be part of our staff.
What are you doing when you aren’t at The Clipper?
When I’m not at The Clipper, you can pretty much guarantee I am listening to music wherever I may be…it keeps me going. When I’m not working, I enjoy working out, spending time with my family and my dog, going to cute coffee shops with my friends, and exploring different cities. I hope to travel someday, so planning trips is also something that’s fun for me to think about. I also enjoy fashion and interior design.
What is an issue or topic you are passionate about?
Human rights (and animal rights) are something that pull at my heart. I hate to see suffering in any form, and am determined to do what I can to care for and stand up for those who are not able to protect themselves. I hope that whatever my future career may be, it will be something that helps make a meaningful contribution to society.
