Sex Week is here at EvCC. This week, Feb. 22-Feb. 25, the event will provide sex education to students at EvCC.

There will be a sex fair, on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Jackson Center. It will feature booths and local organizations to provide resources and information about different aspects of sexual education.

On Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., there will be a workshop called “Taking Charge of Your Sexuality with David Bayless” a sex educator from the Communicable Disease Team with the Snohomish County Health District in Jackson Center. There will also be a presentation called “50 Shades of Grey: Fantasy or Reality with Allena Gabosh” from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Jackson Center that will discuss “the reality of behind 50 Shafes of Grey.”

On Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m. there will be “Spoken Word Poetry and Q&A with Ebony Stewart” in Jackson Center. Ebony Stewart is a former Sexual Health Educator who tours performing slam poetry, and will hold a Q&A after the fact.

Finally, on Thursday, “The Hook Up” will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. “The Hook Up” is an audience-participation program led by trained educators.
