40 students from EvCC will join other community college students at the Students of Color Conference in Yakima, Washington on April 21-23. This year’s theme is “this is our time, truth redefined.”

At this conference, students will have the chance to attend a variety of workshops focused on five themes: identity development, awareness of others, skill development, social justice/social activism and personal development.

Other than the workshops, students will get to meet other students from all over the state to come together and share ideas.

The 40 students have already been selected after completing an application process.
Stay tuned for more, because The Clipper is going to SOCC!
