Calling All Artists

The student art sale features a wide variety of art forms, including pottery and ceramics.

EvCC will showcase students’ artistic talents in the bi-annual student art sale. The event, held in the Whitehorse Hall Critique Space on June 8, is open to all. The sale runs from 10 a.m to 6 p.m.

Artwork for sale includes ceramics, paintings, sculpture, photography and more. 10% of the profits go to the EvCC Art Alliance.

Students are in charge of their own space, pricing their work and setting up their displays. The art sale “helps students learn to market their work,” according to Jim Snitily, the Art Alliance adviser.

Students are encouraged to submit “anything that is creative. It has to be their own work,” according to Snitily. Submission forms are available in the Whitehorse Hall Critique Space.
