Students Work Spreading DUI Awareness

A group of EvCC students enrolled in CMST 230, or Small Group Communications class taught by Jo-Ann Sickles, has created a video that they would like to share with the public. Their project is called SADUI or Students Against DUIs. They plan on “spreading awareness of DUIs to young teens in the community of Everett, Lake Stevens and Snohomish.” To see their website visit www.sadui.org.

Other groups projects were to do things such as donate socks to the homeless, spread awareness of nutrition, and help horses by giving them the supplies to live. If this sounds like something that interests you, or if you would like to learn more about working in groups, you can enroll is CMST 230 Spring Quarter. It’s a hybrid class that meets from 10-11:50 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
